Resolutions

Hope everyone had a great holiday! MFB and I had a great time in NY and Boston visiting family friends. The month of December was INSANITY with trips, parties, work, and events, so I'm aiming at keeping January as low key as possible. I'm really looking forward to a fresh start and focusing on my resolutions and goals. Here are 5 I hope to focus on and/or accomplish in 2014: 
1. Get on a workout plan. I've gained about 10-15 pounds since the wedding (GAH!) and it needs to stop. I went from working out regularly to settling for the occasional jog here and there. I am going to start out by doing at least 45 minutes of cardio 3 times a week and take it from there. 
2. Get my at-home desk organized. My desk at home is a mess. There are papers everywhere and in no particular order (bills, contracts, marriage stuff, gift certificates, etc), so I'm going to weed through it all and make folders/binders for everything. 
3. Go through my closets and donate EVERYTHING I have not worn in the last year. My closets are packed to the brim and our new apartment has less closet space, so I really need get this done before the move. 
4. Learn a new craft of some kind. I've always been interested in learning how to needlepoint or knit, so I'm going to get started on something like that this year. I've found these two places ( Pins & Needles and Annie & Co ) which are near my apartment, so I'm going to take some classes!
5. Take dance classes again. I've been involved in dance my entire life (tap, ballet, jazz, Irish step dance), but I haven't taken a class in about 2 years. It is such a great workout and makes me happy, so I need to keep it part of my life somehow. I found this dance studio near my apartment, Ballet Academy East, so I am going to push myself to attend regularly even though I'm scared and nervous about being out of practice.
